Demeter Müller is the music project of Barcelona-based violinist, improviser, and composer Maura Cronin. Classically trained in the U.S., France, and Spain, her music is rooted in a reverence for nature, Buddhist philosophy, and the emotional landscapes of the human experience. Electronic and ambient music further shaped her vision of sonic and psychological landscapes as a space for exploring texture and emotion beyond the classical repertoire.

Her debut album features the lush beats and masterful electronic processing of Dave Bianchi, as well as a collaboration with celebrated Turkish vocalist Nihan Devecioglu whose existential questioning helped shape the album’s title.
A frequent performer at the Sagrada Familia with the Camerata International de Barcelona and as well as in holistic and therapeutic events, Maura moves fluidly between concert halls, dance venues and sacred spaces. Her sound explores the threshold where the body and mind meet intuition and authenticity, often shaped by live looping and an invitation to presence.

Cataluña, her spiritual home, has marked a turning point in her evolution as an artist devoted to depth, resonance, and inner transformation. Her creative path is guided by curiosity and an invitation to listen to oneself in order to heal.
